Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our catering department in delivering exceptional food. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating innovative dishes. Previous experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management is highly desirable.

Duties

  • Develop and plan diverse menus that align with catering concepts and customer preferences
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
  • Coordinate catering menus and special functions, ensuring seamless execution
  • Monitor shift management to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee dietary department needs, including special dietary requests and nutritional considerations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times

Experience

  • Proven banquet experience with a strong background in large-scale food production and catering services
  • Supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment with team management responsibilities
  • Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining, food service management, and menu planning
  • Knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen operations
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality management roles is preferred
  • Skills in food handling, food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management are essential
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with the food industry trends, dietary requirements, and catering logistics
