We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our catering department in delivering exceptional food. Duties
- Develop and plan diverse menus that align with catering concepts and customer preferences
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Coordinate catering menus and special functions, ensuring seamless execution
- Monitor shift management to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction
- Oversee dietary department needs, including special dietary requests and nutritional considerations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
Experience
- Proven banquet experience with a strong background in large-scale food production and catering services
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment with team management responsibilities
- Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining, food service management, and menu planning
- Knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen operations
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality management roles is preferred
- Skills in food handling, food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management are essential
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with the food industry trends, dietary requirements, and catering logistics
