About Us:
Play and Grow Academy of Saginaw is a brand-new childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children from infants to 12 years old. Our goal is to support children's growth through play-based learning and high-quality care.

We are seeking passionate and reliable Daycare Teachers to join our team and help us create a positive, fun, and educational atmosphere for our children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote growth and development.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Supervise and engage children during playtime, meals, and rest periods.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with parents and staff.
  • Follow all state licensing rules and center policies.
  • Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and toilet training (as needed).
  • Observe and document each child's progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check as required by Michigan licensing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or higher.
  • Early Childhood Education coursework or degree.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Full-time and part-time positions available.
  • Competitive pay, based on experience and education.
  • Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends
