About Us:
Play and Grow Academy of Saginaw is a brand-new childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children from infants to 12 years old. Our goal is to support children's growth through play-based learning and high-quality care.
We are seeking passionate and reliable Daycare Teachers to join our team and help us create a positive, fun, and educational atmosphere for our children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote growth and development.
- Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children.
- Supervise and engage children during playtime, meals, and rest periods.
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents and staff.
- Follow all state licensing rules and center policies.
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and toilet training (as needed).
- Observe and document each child's progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass a comprehensive background check as required by Michigan licensing.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or higher.
- Early Childhood Education coursework or degree.
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- Competitive pay, based on experience and education.
- Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends
