About the Role
We're hiring a Warehouse Manager / Operations Lead to serve as the day-to-day driver of warehouse systems, performance, and accountability a role designed to reduce leadership firefighting and create consistent execution.
This is a high-ownership position for someone who builds structure, solves problems, and executes without needing to be chased.
You will ensure accountability of the 35-person warehouse team through the Warehouse Supervisor, while partnering closely with Inventory and Production leadership to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and accurately — especially during peak season.
Your Mission
Your mission is to build a warehouse operation that runs predictably, accurately, and efficiently, so leadership doesn't have to manage the details daily.
This role will focus heavily on:
WMS implementation & adoption
ERP workflow alignment & data integrity
Inventory accuracy support + prevention
Improving/ Creating strong operating rhythms and accountability systems
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- A clear operating cadence: daily priorities, weekly plans, and measurable outcomes
- WMS implementation/adoption is advancing with clear training and compliance on the floor
- Improved pick/pack speed and reduced errors
- SOPs are implemented and consistently followed
- Clear KPI visibility (productivity, accuracy, compliance)
- Strong leadership partnership with Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory, and Production
Key Responsibilities:
1) Warehouse Operations & Performance Ownership
- Own warehouse performance outcomes including throughput, on-time shipping, and accuracy
- Build daily and weekly warehouse rhythms (planning, execution checks, performance reviews)
- Improve warehouse layout, flow, staging practices, and labor efficiency
- Support peak season readiness (staffing models, overtime planning, weekend schedules)
2) Accountability & Leadership Through the Warehouse Supervisor
- Ensure accountability of the 35-person warehouse team through the Warehouse Supervisor
- Coach and develop the supervisor's leadership, communication, and accountability practices
- Ensure daily execution matches priorities and standards without micromanagement
- Establish escalation standards so issues are surfaced early — not at the last minute
- Create consistent expectations for attendance, pace, accuracy, and teamwork
3) Systems: WMS + ERP Adoption
- Lead warehouse-side execution of WMS implementation/adoption
- Ensure ERP and WMS workflows are consistently followed and properly trained
- Improve scanning discipline, location integrity, receiving accuracy, and system compliance
- Identify and eliminate workarounds that undermine inventory accuracy and performance
4) Inventory Partnership (Accuracy + Prevention)
- Partner with Inventory leadership to reduce recurring issues through prevention and process improvements
- Ensure receiving, put-away, picking, and packing practices protect inventory integrity
- Reinforce correct behaviors (labeling, scanning, location discipline)
- Participate in root cause reviews to resolve issues permanently, not repeatedly
5) Standardization, SOPs & Continuous Improvement
- Build and maintain SOPs for warehouse workflows
- Establish training standards and ensure consistent onboarding and retraining
- Drive continuous improvement projects that increase pick/pack speed and accuracy
- Track performance trends and implement targeted solutions
KPIs You Will Own
You'll be measured on outcomes, not activity. KPIs include:
- Pick/pack speed improvement
- Order accuracy / reduction in errors and mis-picks
- On-time fulfillment and shipping performance
- WMS/ERP compliance and adoption
- Labor efficiency (hours vs output)
- Inventory accuracy improvements (in partnership with Inventory team)
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
- 5+ years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience
- Inventory experience – required (accuracy, discrepancy resolution, operational discipline)
- ERP systems experience – required
- Experience implementing or leading adoption of a WMS
- Strong execution + follow-through and a solutions-driven mindset
- Ability to build accountability systems and drive performance
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Availability to work weekends as needed during peak season (Sept–December)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in beverage, food, or high-volume distribution
- Experience building SOPs, training programs, and KPI dashboards
- Forklift experience is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse environment with regular walking, standing, bending, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in an active warehouse setting

Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000 base salary
