We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. Weekend availability is necessary but our kitchen closes at 2pm daily so no evening shifts required.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
