After 3pm, the space turns into Famous Original J's Pizza, offering large Brooklyn-style pies, slices, and more.
We are seeking an experienced Hot Line Cook to join our dynamic team in our open kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will not only be responsible for preparing delicious bagel sandwiches and NY deli food, but you will also be expected to engage with our customers, answer questions about our food, provide samples, take orders, and provide assistance with online orders. This position requires someone who is skilled in both culinary arts and customer service, with a strong desire to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This is a high-volume and fast-paced position that requires someone who has the right energy to keep up while maintaining the high quality standards of our food. Responsibilities & Duties:
Customer Engagement-
- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Offer samples of dishes to customers, showcasing the quality and flavors of our cuisine
- Distribute orders accurately to guests
Culinary Expertise-
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and guidelines, ensuring quality and consistency
- Maintain inventory of what you have at your station - restock food, and FOH supplies as needed
- Follow proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely food preparation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and approachable customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to stand on your feet for long periods and lift heavy 50#
- Willingness to collaborate with team members
Preferences:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Ability to work days, nights and weekends

- $12.00/ hr + tips (avg $7.00-$10.00 per hour in tips, based on past year)
