Now Hiring high-volume experienced line cooks for an award-winning, locally owned restaurant.Experience required. References will be checked.
Responsibilities
-Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
-Prepare food for service
-Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station
-Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
-Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
-Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef
-Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
-Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry's best practices
Back of House Assistant Kitchen Manager:
-Required: all skills above and
-Support the Kitchen Manager in daily kitchen operations and staff supervision
-Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards
-Assist with scheduling, training, and mentoring kitchen staff
-Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance (HACCP/ServSafe)
-Help control food costs, waste, and portioning
-Step in to lead shifts in the Kitchen Manager's absence
-Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
-Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
-Support team morale
-Handle basic administrative tasks such as prep lists, Produce orders etc
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
