Schedule: Friday through Monday, flexible; includes nights, weekends, and holidays
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive team performance in a fast-paced, full-service dining environment. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in leadership, values teamwork, and is committed to excellence in service, operations, and financial performance.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, supporting staff development, maintaining inventory and cost controls, and ensuring compliance with company standards and Florida employment and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service from arrival through departure
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction in high-volume, fast-paced settings
- Schedule, supervise, and lead all front-of-house shifts
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Monitor daily operations and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Control labor, food, and supply costs while minimizing waste
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of restaurant supplies
- Assist in menu planning, pricing, and service execution
- Implement strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and sales
- Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful work environment
Physical & Work Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for 6–8 hours per shift
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- May be required to drive to pick up supplies or deliveries
Time Allocation
- 80% – On the floor: guest interaction, staff supervision, service leadership
- 15% – Administrative duties: scheduling, reports, ordering, payroll support
- 5% – Off-site errands: purchasing, supply runs, or equipment pickup
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of full-service restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Solid knowledge of food, beverage, and wine service
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with restaurant POS and management systems
- Financial awareness, including labor, food cost, and inventory management
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
