Join our vibrant team in Washington, D.C. as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders in our fast-paced distribution center. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves and carefully packing them for shipment. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Verify order details against picked items.
- Package items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics and order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements: You are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety vests and closed-toe shoes. The role involves regular Lifting of items. A commitment to workplace Safety is essential, and all employees must follow established Safety protocols. Become a key contributor to our Washington, D.C. operations!
