Lead our team as a Warehouse Supervisor in Baltimore, Maryland! We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to manage all aspects of our warehouse operations. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and team supervision. As our Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of safety. You will guide and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of productivity and accountability. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing workflows, managing inventory effectively, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety regulations. A comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a non-negotiable aspect of this position. You will also play a key role in implementing process improvements and contributing to the overall success of our logistics network. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Managing and motivating a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Ensuring accurate inventory counts and managing stock levels effectively.
- Implementing and enforcing all safety rules, regulations, and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Conducting regular safety training and toolbox talks for the team.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization to optimize efficiency.
- Troubleshooting operational issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with management to develop and execute strategies for warehouse improvement.
- Ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer demands.
- Managing and maintaining warehouse equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
