Job Summary:
Lead our team as a Warehouse Supervisor in Baltimore, Maryland! We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to manage all aspects of our warehouse operations. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and team supervision. As our Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of safety. You will guide and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of productivity and accountability. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing workflows, managing inventory effectively, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety regulations. A comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a non-negotiable aspect of this position. You will also play a key role in implementing process improvements and contributing to the overall success of our logistics network. Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Managing and motivating a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Ensuring accurate inventory counts and managing stock levels effectively.
  • Implementing and enforcing all safety rules, regulations, and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Conducting regular safety training and toolbox talks for the team.
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization to optimize efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting operational issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with management to develop and execute strategies for warehouse improvement.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer demands.
  • Managing and maintaining warehouse equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
This leadership position requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with a proven ability to manage complex logistics operations. The ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds and comfort with physically demanding tasks are essential.
