Career Prep Instructor

• Thursday and Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  

• Develop and deliver engaging instruction focused on resume writing, interviewing techniques, job search strategies, and professional communication.
  
• Plan instruction to achieve specific career readiness objectives based on the established curriculum.
  
• Evaluate and grade student assignments (e.g., mock interviews, resumes) promptly.
  
• Provide academic and career advising to students, holding regularly scheduled office hours.
  
• Monitor student attendance and submit required documentation and reports.
  
• Collaborate with Student Services and Placement departments to ensure alignment with industry needs.
  
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and campus events.
  

• Hiring Range:$ $29.66 per hour.

• Education & Experience (Required): Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
  
• Graduation from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA in the field/subject area taught (e.g., Business, HR, Communications).
  
• A minimum of three (3) years of teaching or occupational experience, or a combination of the two, in the field of career development or professional skills. (Justification for this exception must be documented).
  
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead effective presentations, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in common office software (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace).
  
• Teaching Experience (Preferred): Prior teaching, training, or workshop facilitation experience preferred.
  
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
