Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office/Accounting Assistant to support daily operations at our Electrical Contracting Company. This full-time, in-person role includes administrative support, payroll processing, and invoicing. Ideal candidates will have mid-level experience and a strong background in business administration and accounting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily office operations
- Prepare and process invoices using QuickBooks
- Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
- Process weekly payroll, including Certified Payroll
- Order and maintain office supplies and inventory
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with QuickBooks and Paychex (Preferred)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in office administration or a related administrative role
- Background in accounting responsibilities within the electrical/construction field helpful
Pay: Compensation based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
