Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office/Accounting Assistant to support daily operations at our Electrical Contracting Company. This full-time, in-person role includes administrative support, payroll processing, and invoicing. Ideal candidates will have mid-level experience and a strong background in business administration and accounting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily office operations
  • Prepare and process invoices using QuickBooks
  • Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
  • Process weekly payroll, including Certified Payroll
  • Order and maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with QuickBooks and Paychex (Preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in office administration or a related administrative role
  • Background in accounting responsibilities within the electrical/construction field helpful

Pay: Compensation based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
