This person will primarily work in the warehouse but will serve as a backup driver for local routes if the situation is needed. Job Description:

• Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.

• Verify the quantities and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.

• Examine incoming shipments, appropriately report/record any discrepancies.

• Enter quantities received against the purchase order in the computer system and print back orders and inventory stock put away list.

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers.

• Prepare shipping documentation.

• Review orders to determine if they were picked correctly.

• Safely and accurately cut designated lengths of wire.

• Perform requirements necessary to lift and move inventory as well as load and unload trucks.

• Professionally represent the company while interacting with customers.

• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment while following all Company safety procedures.

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, including offering information and answering questions.

• May be a backup driver to safely drive van to transport materials within specified area; verify loads against shipping papers; obtain signed receipts for material delivered.

• Determine best route for effective delivery of products that will satisfy customers' expectations of timely delivery; record delivery information; inspect vehicle equipment and supplies as required and immediately report any deficiencies to ensure safe operation.

• Knowledge of the procedures for securing the type of cargo in the motor vehicle being driven.

Job Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED required.

• Possess or ability to acquire a chauffeur's license.

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
