Role: Business Development Representative (Part-Time)
AOK Studios is seeking a part-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate qualified leads, book appointments, and create consistent opportunities for our sales pipeline.
This is a paid hourly + commission role designed for someone who thrives in outreach, enjoys creating new conversations, and understands the importance of consistent pipeline generation. You'll be responsible for initiating contact with prospects, identifying qualified opportunities, and booking meetings for our sales team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal BDR at AOK Studios is:
- A confident communicator who enjoys meeting and messaging new people
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting across email, calls, social media, and DMs
- Organized, consistent, and reliable with daily outreach
- Quick to learn and comfortable speaking about our services
- Self-driven, ambitious, and motivated by performance-based compensation
- Available 15–25 hours per week
Experience in media, creative services, or marketing is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities1. Outbound Prospecting
- Identify and research ideal prospects (clubs, businesses, organizations, agencies, etc.)
- Execute outreach campaigns via email, DM, calls, and social media
- Warm up prospects and initiate meaningful conversations
- Maintain a strong daily outreach volume
2. Booking Qualified Appointments
- Convert conversations into booked discovery calls
- Ensure prospects meet our ICP criteria
- Fill the CEO's calendar with qualified meetings
- Execute follow-ups and nurture older leads
3. Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Track all outreach activity and lead notes in our CRM/tracking tools
- Provide weekly summaries of progress
- Collaborate with leadership to refine targeting and messaging
Compensation Structure
This role provides stability with strong upside for performance.
Hourly Base Pay
- $15–$20 per hour (based on experience)
- 15–25 hours per week
Per Qualified Appointment
- $50 per qualified appointment booked
(Qualified = meets ICP + shows up to the meeting)
Commission
- 6% of closed revenue from deals you sourced and booked
- Most starting-level projects range from $3,000–$4,000, with larger commercial projects occurring throughout the year
