Requirements:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and new prospects within the food distribution sector.
- Promote and sell a wide range of food products to retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers.
- Conduct regular/occasional on-site visits to client locations to assess needs, provide product information, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify new sales opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate deliveries, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.
- Attend sales meetings, trainings, or seminars as required and needed to represent the company and generate leads.
- Perform other duties, as required.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S., as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Cantonese, or Chinese (spoken and written).
- 1–2 years of food industry experience.
- Technologically competent; familiar with MS Office, remote internet connectivity, and ERP software.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order processing and documentation.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer needs effectively.
- Proven ability to develop and execute new business prospecting plans.
- Skilled negotiator with a track record of closing sales successfully.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including occasional travel, and take initiative.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused attitude.
