Join one of the largest food distribution companies in the Northeast as a Bilingual English and Mandarin/Cantonese/Chinese Field Sales Representative. Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and new prospects within the food distribution sector.
  • Promote and sell a wide range of food products to retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers.
  • Conduct regular/occasional on-site visits to client locations to assess needs, provide product information, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate deliveries, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.
  • Attend sales meetings, trainings, or seminars as required and needed to represent the company and generate leads.
  • Perform other duties, as required.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S., as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Cantonese, or Chinese (spoken and written).
  • 1–2 years of food industry experience.
  • Technologically competent; familiar with MS Office, remote internet connectivity, and ERP software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order processing and documentation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer needs effectively.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute new business prospecting plans.
  • Skilled negotiator with a track record of closing sales successfully.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including occasional travel, and take initiative.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused attitude.
