What You Will Do:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing Defense & Intelligence practice, with a dedicated focus on AI & Data Modernization programs. This individual will be a hands-on technical contributor, responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines & products and interactive dashboards that enable federal clients to achieve mission outcomes, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
This is a strategic delivery role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, cloud platforms, and public sector analytics.
Client Leadership and Delivery:
Collaborate with clients to understand data architecture and reporting needs.
Ensure delivery excellence and measurable outcomes across data modernization programs, in support of clients' financial management objectives.
Solution Development & Innovation
Lead the development of ETL pipelines in DataBricks and/or Palantir software, with Python, Spark, and SQL.
Develop and operate AI & Data solutions in DataBricks and/or Palantir software, with Python, Spark, and SQL.
Design and operate dashboard integrations using Databricks, Qlik, and Microsoft Power Platform.
Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards aligned with federal reporting standards.
Apply AI/ML tools to automate metadata extraction, clustering, and dashboard scripting.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred
Bachelor's Degree
THREE (3) years of relevant data and/or business data analytics engineering experience
What Would Be Nice To Have:
AI/LLM Certifications or Data Analytics degrees.
Experience working with Defense & Intelligence clients
Experience working in Advana or Palantir software
Familiarity with federal contracting and procurement processes
