What You Will Do:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing Defense & Intelligence practice, with a dedicated focus on AI & Data Modernization programs. This individual will be a hands-on technical contributor, responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines & products and interactive dashboards that enable federal clients to achieve mission outcomes, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.

This is a strategic delivery role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, cloud platforms, and public sector analytics.

Client Leadership and Delivery:

• Collaborate with clients to understand data architecture and reporting needs.

• Ensure delivery excellence and measurable outcomes across data modernization programs, in support of clients' financial management objectives.

Solution Development & Innovation

• Lead the development of ETL pipelines in DataBricks and/or Palantir software, with Python, Spark, and SQL.

• Develop and operate AI & Data solutions in DataBricks and/or Palantir software, with Python, Spark, and SQL.

• Design and operate dashboard integrations using Databricks, Qlik, and Microsoft Power Platform.

• Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards aligned with federal reporting standards.

• Apply AI/ML tools to automate metadata extraction, clustering, and dashboard scripting.

What You Will Need:

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred

• Bachelor's Degree

• THREE (3) years of relevant data and/or business data analytics engineering experience

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• AI/LLM Certifications or Data Analytics degrees.

• Experience working with Defense & Intelligence clients

• Experience working in Advana or Palantir software

• Familiarity with federal contracting and procurement processes
