Position Summary
Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing a customer base within a specified territory while maintaining and developing existing accounts by increasing sales to current customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain strong positive business and customer relationships
- Support the customer in the decision-making process
- Provide quotes for customers and deliver them promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service and keep customers informed by communicating promptly, accurately and honestly
- Work collaboratively with the team to support all steps in the process
- Follow up with any issues and make sure they are dealt with in a timely manner
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, as applicable.
Qualifications
- Postsecondary education
- 2-3 years of sales experience
- Proven ability to meet sales goals
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Outgoing personality and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer skills
- Ability to travel
- Valid Driver's License
The pay range for this role is:
60, ,000 CAD per year(Burnaby Branch (CCB))
