Position Summary
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering excellent guest service. This role supports the beverage program by following established recipes, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to standards
- Follow standardized recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and workstations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
- Ensure compliance with TABC, food safety, and responsible alcohol service policies
- Handle guest questions, feedback, and concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred (fine dining or upscale a plus)
- Knowledge of basic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Texas TABC and Food Handler certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
