Slick City is seeking a motivated IT Technician / Assistant Manager to support both our technology systems and daily park operations. This dual-role position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues while helping manage staff, guest experience, and facility operations in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT & Technology Support
- Provide on-site IT support for POS systems, ticketing software, kiosks, and office computers
- Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, printers, registers, tablets, TVs, and digital signage
- Support security cameras, access control, and music/AV systems
- Coordinate with vendors for internet, POS, and software support
- Perform system updates, maintenance, and basic documentation
- Respond quickly to tech issues impacting guest experience
- Support the General Manager with daily operations and shift leadership
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met
- Step in as Manager on Duty when needed
- Assist with opening/closing procedures and cash handling
- 2+ years in IT support, operations, or management (entertainment, retail, or hospitality preferred)
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills (POS, networking, hardware)
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a management role
- Excellent communication and guest-service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a live, guest-facing environment
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and peak business times
- POS or ticketing system experience
- Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
- Experience supervising staff
- CompTIA A+ / Network+ or equivalent experience (a plus, not required)
