Job Summary

Slick City is seeking a motivated IT Technician / Assistant Manager to support both our technology systems and daily park operations. This dual-role position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues while helping manage staff, guest experience, and facility operations in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities
IT & Technology Support
  • Provide on-site IT support for POS systems, ticketing software, kiosks, and office computers
  • Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, printers, registers, tablets, TVs, and digital signage
  • Support security cameras, access control, and music/AV systems
  • Coordinate with vendors for internet, POS, and software support
  • Perform system updates, maintenance, and basic documentation
  • Respond quickly to tech issues impacting guest experience
Assistant Manager Duties
  • Support the General Manager with daily operations and shift leadership
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance coaching
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met
  • Step in as Manager on Duty when needed
  • Assist with opening/closing procedures and cash handling
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in IT support, operations, or management (entertainment, retail, or hospitality preferred)
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills (POS, networking, hardware)
  • Leadership experience or readiness to step into a management role
  • Excellent communication and guest-service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a live, guest-facing environment
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and peak business times
Preferred Skills
  • POS or ticketing system experience
  • Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
  • Experience supervising staff
  • CompTIA A+ / Network+ or equivalent experience (a plus, not required)
