Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively while ensuring a smooth and efficient restaurant operation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a skilled team.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage costs.
  • Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient cash handling and order processing.
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
  • Develop and execute staff schedules, managing shifts effectively for optimal service.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to enhance menu offerings based on customer feedback.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and organization.

Experience

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures in a restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with various dining experiences including fine dining, casual dining, quick service, and catering operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and performance evaluation.
  • Background in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
