Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively while ensuring a smooth and efficient restaurant operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a skilled team.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage costs.
- Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient cash handling and order processing.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
- Develop and execute staff schedules, managing shifts effectively for optimal service.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to enhance menu offerings based on customer feedback.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and organization.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures in a restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with various dining experiences including fine dining, casual dining, quick service, and catering operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and performance evaluation.
- Background in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred.

Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
