We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our facility in the bustling environment of New York City, New York. This role is fundamental to our operations, involving the efficient handling of goods from receiving to dispatch. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including stocking, order picking, packing, and ensuring the overall organization and safety of our warehouse space. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Store materials and products in designated locations, ensuring accessibility and safety.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles as required.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
- Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in team efforts to meet operational targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is highly valued.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is beneficial.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing all required PPE.
