We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance, with experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and quality are paramount.

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and CMMS software.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs and residential painting as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems.
  • Supervise or assist in supervising maintenance tasks performed by team members or contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols during all maintenance activities.
  • Lead or participate in facilities maintenance projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong electrical experience, including working with schematics, PLCs, and Ohmmeters.
  • Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding and residential painting preferred.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management.
  • Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
  • Supervising or leadership experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to document work accurately and collaborate with team members.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position provides an engaging opportunity for skilled technicians committed to maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence within our organization.

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
