*About the job:*
You get to focus on your skillset by showing up to see clients and letting our staff do the administrative work. This is a perfect fit for an excellent practitioner who doesn't want the headache of coordinating a schedule or the isolation of working alone. We have beautifully decorated our massage department in the quieter space of the office with a contemporary, calming feel for the benefit of both our clients and those using the space.
This is an employment position (not independent contractor) with the opportunity for hours to expand. Our massage clients are faithful to scheduling consistently. Being a clinical setting, our new team member needs to be confident in complaint-specific and injury strategies as well as making client recommendations for self-care. There is a lot of demand for deep tissue requests. In addition to a very competitive pay rate, we also offer fringe benefits such as a 401k, Aflac and complimentary chiropractic care. There is on-site laundry and digital software for client notes.
*Hiring Shifts:*
Monday: 3p-7p
Wednesday: 9a-1p / 3p-7p
Thursday: 3p-7p
Friday: 9a-1p PRN
*Qualifications: *
Diversity in techniques is a plus and must be able to do Prenatal & Perinatal Massage. Previous work experience necessary to apply due to the clinical nature of the practice. *VA state licensure and current malpractice insurance* required. *Responsibilities*
* Provide therapeutic massage services to clients, utilizing various techniques such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
* Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health regulations.
* Educate clients on pain management strategies and self-care techniques.
* Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and maintain accurate client records.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Job Type: Part-time
