Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Account Manager to lead key client relationships and drive revenue growth. This role is responsible for managing strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and executing sales strategies that support long-term business objectives.
The Role
Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Senior Sales Account Manager owns the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. This role serves as a primary relationship owner for key accounts and plays a critical role in driving revenue, improving customer retention, and supporting overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets.
Account Management & Client Relationships
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts.
- Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex client needs and escalations.
Quoting, Proposals & Negotiation
- Lead the preparation and delivery of client proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements while maintaining profitability.
- Oversee quote follow-ups and ensure timely conversion to sales.
Reporting & Strategy
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
- Track and analyze sales performance, trends, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies and growth initiatives.
Compliance
- Comply with workplace policies and SOPs
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Strong experience managing long-term client relationships and complex sales cycles.
· Experience in construction environments and the ability to interpret or produce technical drawings are considered assets.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
· Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
· Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
· High attention to detail and strong business acumen.
· Excellent attendance, professionalism, and work ethic.
