Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming breakfast experience for guests by maintaining cleanliness, preparing food, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in creating a positive start to our guests' day and supporting the overall operation of our dining services. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided. The Breakfast Attendant must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6am to 11am or when finished.
Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established standards, including food presentation and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Set up and replenish breakfast buffet stations as needed
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly guest service
- Handle food safety procedures, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to ensure a tidy dining environment
- Restock supplies and food for the next day
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety standards is preferred
- Previous roles in banquet service, hotel dining, or restaurant environments are beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally are essential
- Experience with dietary accommodations or food handling certifications is an asset
