Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming breakfast experience for guests by maintaining cleanliness, preparing food, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in creating a positive start to our guests' day and supporting the overall operation of our dining services. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided. The Breakfast Attendant must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6am to 11am or when finished.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established standards, including food presentation and portion control
  • Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
  • Set up and replenish breakfast buffet stations as needed
  • Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly guest service
  • Handle food safety procedures, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
  • Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to ensure a tidy dining environment
  • Restock supplies and food for the next day
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Experience

  • Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety standards is preferred
  • Previous roles in banquet service, hotel dining, or restaurant environments are beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally are essential
  • Experience with dietary accommodations or food handling certifications is an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $14.00 per hour
