  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and provide training on behavioral strategies for home or school settings
  • Assist with intake procedures by gathering relevant medical history and conducting initial evaluations for new clients
  • Support behavioral health initiatives by implementing strategies that promote patient safety, comfort, and engagement during therapy sessions

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral health conditions is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods is essential
  • Familiarity with special education practices and working within medical or clinical settings enhances effectiveness in this role
  • Ability to interpret medical terminology, review medical records, and understand diagnostic evaluations contributes to comprehensive patient care
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working compassionately with diverse populations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
  • Experience in patient assessment, intake procedures, or clinical documentation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
