Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on each client's treatment plan, utilizing ABA techniques to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living abilities
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress and behavior patterns to inform ongoing treatment strategies
- Conduct patient assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate interventions and track developmental milestones
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and intake forms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and privacy
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and provide training on behavioral strategies for home or school settings
- Assist with intake procedures by gathering relevant medical history and conducting initial evaluations for new clients
- Support behavioral health initiatives by implementing strategies that promote patient safety, comfort, and engagement during therapy sessions
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral health conditions is highly preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods is essential
- Familiarity with special education practices and working within medical or clinical settings enhances effectiveness in this role
- Ability to interpret medical terminology, review medical records, and understand diagnostic evaluations contributes to comprehensive patient care
- Strong interpersonal skills for working compassionately with diverse populations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
- Experience in patient assessment, intake procedures, or clinical documentation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $ $50.05 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Application Question(s):
- Do you hold an active Arizona Behavior Analyst license issued by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners?
- Do you have at least one year of experience providing ABA or behavioral health services to children or adolescents?
- Are you currently certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)?
- Do you have any current or past disciplinary actions, complaints, or investigations with the Arizona Board or BACB?
- Are you able to conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and design individualized treatment plans independently?
- Are you comfortable supervising Behavior Technicians/Paraprofessionals as required under Article 10?
- Do you have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, or behavioral disorders?
- Are you able to complete clinical documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes within required timeframes?
- Do you hold a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, or are you able to obtain one before hire?
- Are you able to participate in or lead parent training sessions and family-centered treatment planning?
