We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our **inventory**. You will be responsible for managing **inventory** levels, conducting audits, resolving discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve **inventory** accuracy and **logistics** efficiency. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and **safety** protocols is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all **inventory** control activities within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, ensuring accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve **inventory** discrepancies and variances.
- Implement and maintain **inventory** control procedures and best practices.
- Analyze **inventory** data to identify trends and areas for improvement in **logistics**.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate product flow.
- Develop and maintain **inventory** reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse layout and **safety** for efficient **logistics**.
- Train staff on proper **inventory** handling and **safety** procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of **inventory** management systems (IMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of **logistics** and supply chain principles.
- Knowledge of warehouse **safety** standards and **PPE**.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting** up to 30 pounds, when necessary.
