Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our **inventory**. You will be responsible for managing **inventory** levels, conducting audits, resolving discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve **inventory** accuracy and **logistics** efficiency. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all **inventory** control activities within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, ensuring accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve **inventory** discrepancies and variances.
  • Implement and maintain **inventory** control procedures and best practices.
  • Analyze **inventory** data to identify trends and areas for improvement in **logistics**.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate product flow.
  • Develop and maintain **inventory** reports and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse layout and **safety** for efficient **logistics**.
  • Train staff on proper **inventory** handling and **safety** procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of **inventory** management systems (IMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of **logistics** and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of warehouse **safety** standards and **PPE**.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting** up to 30 pounds, when necessary.
