Kitchen Staff – Job Description Overview

Role Purpose:

Support the culinary team in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest standard, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs with food prep, cooking, and plating
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Store ingredients and supplies properly
  • Support with inventory checks and restocking
  • Dispose of waste and clean dishes as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role preferred
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Work Environment:

Fast-paced, collaborative kitchen setting. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
