We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the overall success of the restaurant.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee food handling, safety procedures, and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff to build a high-performing team
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
- Implement policies related to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards
- Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Extensive restaurant management background with knowledge of food industry standards
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and developing staff members
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment
- Previous barista experience or bar management is advantageous but not required
