Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the overall success of the restaurant.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
  • Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Oversee food handling, safety procedures, and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff to build a high-performing team
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
  • Implement policies related to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
  • Extensive restaurant management background with knowledge of food industry standards
  • Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and developing staff members
  • Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment
  • Previous barista experience or bar management is advantageous but not required
