About Us

KW Landscaping designs and builds high-end outdoor living spaces including decorative concrete, landscape construction, and specialty outdoor projects. We serve residential homeowners and custom home builders and pride ourselves on delivering organized, professional projects from sale to completion.

We are growing and restructuring to improve efficiency, accountability, and customer experience. This role is a critical leadership position in that system.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Project Manager to serve as the operational bridge between Sales and Production.

This person owns the execution of every sold project ensuring that what was promised is delivered accurately, on time, and profitably. The Project Manager takes over once a project is sold, organizes the schedule, prepares crews, manages communication, and holds all parties accountable through completion.

Once the project is completed, the PM formally hands the project off to our Office Manager for final billing and customer follow-up.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not an administrative coordinator position.

Key Responsibilities Sales → Production Handoff

  • Receive and review all sold project information from Sales
  • Verify scope, materials, plans, photos, and special conditions
  • Clarify discrepancies before production begins
  • Accept or reject projects based on readiness standards

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Build and manage production schedules
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Sequence jobs for efficiency and crew capacity
  • Adjust schedules proactively due to weather, delays, or changes

Crew Leadership & Accountability

  • Conduct project handoff meetings with Crew Leaders
  • Ensure crews understand scope, expectations, and quality standards
  • Monitor progress and address issues in real time
  • Enforce timelines, workmanship standards, and safety requirements

Communication & Documentation

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact during production
  • Maintain organized project documentation (photos, notes, changes)
  • Track change orders and communicate approvals
  • Keep Sales informed of major changes or risks

Project Closeout

  • Perform final project walk-throughs (as required)
  • Confirm punch list completion
  • Prepare project for handoff to Office Manager
  • Ensure documentation is complete for final invoicing and customer follow-up

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Projects start prepared, not confused
  • Crews show up knowing exactly what to build
  • Fewer delays, rework, and miscommunications
  • Sales promises align with delivered results
  • Customers experience a smooth, professional build process
  • Office team receives clean, complete project closeouts

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management or field operations
  • Experience managing crews and schedules
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read plans, scopes of work, and material lists
  • Comfortable holding people accountable
  • Problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
  • Proficient with basic technology (project apps, photos, checklists)

Preferred Experience

  • Residential construction, landscaping, concrete, or outdoor living projects
  • Experience working between sales and production teams
  • Familiarity with job documentation tools (CompanyCam, Buildertrend, etc.)
  • Leadership or foreman experience

Why This Role Matters

This is not a "paper pusher" role. This person will directly impact:

  • Job profitability
  • Crew efficiency
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Company growth and scalability

If you enjoy owning outcomes, organizing chaos, and leading teams to successful finishes this role was built for you.

Benefits (Customize as Needed)

  • Competitive salary + performance incentives
  • Paid time off
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable)
  • Growth opportunity into Senior PM / Operations leadership
  • Stable, year-round work
