Responsibilities

  • Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to maintain smooth operations.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating fresh ideas and seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage inventory control and food production, minimizing waste while maintaining adequate stock levels.
  • Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations to keep the kitchen safe and clean.
  • Support banquet and catering services by coordinating food production and presentation for large events.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize food service delivery and enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills.
  • Supervising experience in a busy kitchen or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements and food handling safety standards.
  • Skilled in inventory management, menu planning, and shift management.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food service management, and hospitality principles. Pay: From $18.00 per hour
