Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately according to customer requirements.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to overall team success.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and following safety guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a logistics environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
