We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan! This role is critical to the seamless operation of our logistics hub, involving a wide range of tasks to ensure efficient product handling and order fulfillment. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong work ethic, thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock accurately.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload inventory from trucks and other vehicles.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and supplies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of safety procedures and proper Lifting techniques.
