We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan! This role is critical to the seamless operation of our logistics hub, involving a wide range of tasks to ensure efficient product handling and order fulfillment. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock accurately.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload inventory from trucks and other vehicles.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and supplies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of safety procedures and proper Lifting techniques.
