Keller & Associates Inc., a company in Manchester, NH that provides business services to a small group of manufacturing companies including Kalwall Corporation and Structures Unlimited, Inc., is looking for an Accounting & Administrative Assistant. Your primary role is to manage day to day accounting tasks while providing administrative support to various departments within the organization.
Administrative Assistance:
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication through emails, memos, and calls.
- Manage office tasks, including ordering supplies, maintaining records, and handling mail.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for Senior Level Management.
Accounting Assistant:
- Manage accounts receivable by preparing invoices and applying payments.
- Assist with accounts payable
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software accurately and completely.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and related documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties related to the accounting function as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar clerical role.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
