We are seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management as needed.
- Identify and report any potential hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics center.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic in a logistics setting.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
