Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is fundamental to the success of our logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks critical to efficient warehouse management. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and scanners.
  • Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management as needed.
  • Identify and report any potential hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics center.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
  • Must be able to perform frequent Lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic in a logistics setting.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
