Position Summary
Miku River Rock is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven Servers to join our Front-of-House team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering an exceptional guest dining experience in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests
- Deliver an exceptional dining experience through knowledgeable recommendations, timely service, and genuine hospitality
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, including food, beverages, wine, and sake
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when taking orders and processing payments
- Follow all service steps, sequence of service, and restaurant standards
- Assist with table maintenance, including clearing, setting, and polishing as required
- Resolve guest inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety within the dining room
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by FOH leadership
Requirements
- Previous serving experience in an upscale or fast-paced restaurant is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume service
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellent guest service
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS experience preferred
- Knowledge of wine and sake is an asset
- Japanese cuisine or restaurant experience is a bonus
- Must hold a valid Serving It Right certification
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
