Position Summary

Miku River Rock is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven Servers to join our Front-of-House team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering an exceptional guest dining experience in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests
  • Deliver an exceptional dining experience through knowledgeable recommendations, timely service, and genuine hospitality
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, including food, beverages, wine, and sake
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when taking orders and processing payments
  • Follow all service steps, sequence of service, and restaurant standards
  • Assist with table maintenance, including clearing, setting, and polishing as required
  • Resolve guest inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety within the dining room
  • Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by FOH leadership

Requirements

  • Previous serving experience in an upscale or fast-paced restaurant is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume service
  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellent guest service
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic POS experience preferred
  • Knowledge of wine and sake is an asset
  • Japanese cuisine or restaurant experience is a bonus
  • Must hold a valid Serving It Right certification
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
