Position Overview
The BDC Manager is the engine of our sales operation.
You are responsible for:
Lead conversion
Appointment setting
Show rate
Communication discipline
Team energy and accountability
This role is not administrative.
It is production-based leadership.
Your mission:
Turn internet, phone, and digital opportunities into confirmed, shown, and sold appointments—every single day.
Core Responsibilities:
Leadership & Accountability
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing BDC team
Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations
Hold reps accountable to KPIs with real-time coaching
Create urgency, energy, and competitive culture inside the BDC
Process & Performance
Ensure 100% lead coverage across all platforms
Enforce speed-to-lead standards (minutes matter)
Drive appointment set, show, and sold ratios
Monitor call quality, texting discipline, and follow-up execution
Implement scripts, word tracks, and objection handling that convert
Reporting & Metrics
Track and report:
Leads worked
Appointments set
Appointments shown
Appointments sold
Contact rate
Work directly with Sales Managers to align inventory, promotions, and appointment strategy
Identify breakdowns and fix them immediately—no lag time
Training & Development
Coach daily: calls, texts, CRM usage
Develop future leaders within the BDC
Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and brand voice
Train reps to sell the appointment, not the car

Requirements
Proven BDC leadership experience in automotive retail
Strong understanding of CRM systems and lead sources
Ability to coach, motivate, and correct in real time
Thick skin, strong presence, and respect for standards
Results-oriented mindset (activity + outcomes)
